Unemployed youth encouraged to apply for opportunities in the legal field

The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development (DoJCD) is inviting all unemployed youth to apply for the SASSETA Graduates Programme. This program provides graduates with opportunities to gain practical experience and develop their skills in the legal field.

The SASSETA Graduates Programme is a one-year program that offers graduates the opportunity to work on real-world projects under the supervision of experienced professionals. Graduates will be placed in various departments within the DoJCD, including the National Prosecuting Authority, the Legal Aid Board, and the Department of Correctional Services.

To be eligible for the SASSETA Graduates Programme, applicants must have a bachelor's degree in law or a related field. Applicants must also be South African citizens or permanent residents. The DoJCD is committed to providing opportunities for all unemployed youth, regardless of their race, gender, or disability.

Interested candidates are encouraged to apply online at the DoJCD website. The deadline for applications is 31 July 2023.
