Road Closures for Outside Lands Music Festival

Closures Begin Monday in Golden Gate Park

WEB Road closures are in effect for Outside Lands which starts Friday in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. WEB Road closures for vehicles are already taking place inside Golden Gate Park beginning Monday and lasting through Aug. 14, according to Golden Gate Park's official website. The north side of the park will be the most impacted.

Closures on the North Side

The following entrances will be closed on the north side of the park:

  • JFK Drive from Transverse to 36th Avenue - closed at 6 a.m. Friday through 11 p.m. Sunday
  • 36th Avenue from Fulton Street to Lincoln Way - closed at 6 a.m. Saturday through 11 p.m. Sunday
  • Lincoln Way from 36th Avenue to 38th Avenue - closed at 6 a.m. Saturday through 11 p.m. Sunday
  • 38th Avenue from Lincoln Way to Fulton Street - closed at 4 p.m. Friday through 11 p.m. Sunday

As the festival draws near, city officials are urging attendees to plan ahead and use public transportation or ride-sharing services to get to the park. Golden Gate Park is easily accessible by Muni and BART, and there will be designated drop-off and pick-up zones for ride-sharing services.
